how have i stole ????? i took out the coupon from the pack i was buying!!! surely this is the same as picking up a paper to buy cutting out a coupon and using it at the till, which i know lots of people do. i have never stolen anything. in my eyes stealing is removing something from a shop and not paying for it!

You removed a discount coupon from a product you didn't own and them used it to pay for the item. You knew it was naughty so don't plead all inncoent!:money:

What you deem as stealing may actually be different form what the law rules as stealing!

I did something similar to that once with coffee. It has a 50p off coupon on the side of the jar, so I stood at checkout and removed all the coupons before paying for them. The cashier watched me and didn't say anything.

Did you dishonestly appropriate property with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it?

If you did, then you are guilty of theft, if not, then you are not :)

    That simple :)
