Firewall slowdown

I have installed ewidi anti-malware and there has been a dramitic slowdown with my Mozilla connection. Is there something I can do to speed things up or shall I get rid of it and go back to Windows Firewall?

Have you have downloaded the Ewido version with antivirus included, because if you have only downloaded the free anti-malware it is not a subsitute for a firewall and if Windows Firewall is the only one you have turn it back on!

Edit, sorry that's not clear! I mean unless you have downloaded a firewall then you need to keep windows firewall on if it's the only one you have.

Run the Ewido and your Antivirus too.
