Anyone know how well these work

The Toshiba is available 10 pounds cheaper elsewhere (FYI)
I live in an area where according to the BBC freeview is not available, but it might be anyway as I am at the head of a valley with Cardiff in clear sight.

Hi
I believe their suppose to pretty good, all depends on reception in your area
This one is cheaper than the Morgans and their giving you a better High Gain aerial. £39.99+free delivery.

Hope this helps0 -
They work pretty well providing you can get a good freeview signal through your tv aerial. Best to check a neighbour's freeview reception first. If that is ok - no problem but don't use the mini areial that comes in the box it is useless.

We didnt get it from Ebuyer though. It works but the small aerial doesnt cut it, recption poor. I live near the mast and tried a powered portable aerial but problem is pc is under the stairs so the signal is poor. I know they work fine in a reasonable good because a friend who live just up the road bought one and hence we got one two for kids pc.
You can get good recordings and use it as a pvr to record to pc hard drive too.0
