I tried them. They are fairly basic, couldn't get mine to work with AIM but I only really got one as part of a birthday present. And no there are no Mac Drivers on the CD.

It dont look like they got built in microphones so you need a mic.

the last BOGOF webcam that Argos had was utterly pants. Dont think i'm gonna go for this one either.

Its also usb1.1 which limits it even further. I am sure not long ago Morriosn had a branded usb camera on BOGOF which was just as much but I was put off my its limits like this on.

I got 2 web cams without mic, and its a really pain to turn mic on/off and have it set up without feedback from speakers.

Bought a pair for my daughter to use on MSN. She is delighted and I would rate quality as perfectly acceptable for normal domestic use. Installation was fine and the software package is actually very good, including some software specifically for sending video e-mails. It also contains some good photo editing software (ULead 4).

Downside: no mic and quite a large base which makes it not ideal for screen mounting (i.e. fixing to top of screen).

Model is an SN9C102. Comes up with some info if you Google it.
