probs conectin to internet acer aspire one

Hi guys we bought the acer aspire one from tesco and it's been great but now won't commect to the internet.
It requires continual deleting of folders and resetting of the conections each time. Advice given and works nothing else seems to.
Anyone else had this prob and know what to do? We have bt internet and the azcer runs n firefox. Ta
