Does anyone know if the bottle is refillable? or is it better to stick with a proper spray bottle.
Spray works a treat, far better than the old shaker type, you spray as much as you need on what you need. Yes you can refill the bottle.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Whats the difference between Sarsons and cheapo-value brand vinegar?
According to my wife... nada, zip, zero.
She worked in a vinegar factory for a while a few years back and she says that when they changed from making one brand to another, the machines stopped, the bottles changed (or in some cases just the labels were changed) and the machines started up again.
Personally we use a Sarsons bottle that we've had for years (only for the shaker nozzle) and keep refilling it with the value stuff that costs 15p per bucketload. No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. - Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)0 -

I'm pretty sure most the normal vinegars are the same, you have to watch out for the value stuff though, often it's just spirit vinegar or something with brown colouring.0 -
we have a spray and to be honest I don't rate it - it seems that the vinegar evaporates when it touches hot food (basic physics I suppose!) and I end up using loads. Back to an old-style one for us!0

As a somewhat 'heavy' vinegar user when it comes to chips, I'd end up with repetitive strain injury in my finger from the spray nozzle. Although it sounds like an excellent idea for lighter users, I'll stick with my chips 'swimming' after I've poured it on
