I was made redundant at the start of my mat leave. I can sign up for JSA at the end of this month.

Unfortunately there are no opportunities in my line of work at present (unless Sammy wants to subcontract:p) so I need to make my redundancy money spin out as far as possible and the mortgage holiday ends next month

I hardly have any clothes let alone smart ones, I just live and die in the same old things....and make up.... pah - I just don't do it.

So hot here again today - really muggy and blugh, the slightest movement makes you a soggy heap.

If I get a job sooner rather than later it will actually work in our favour financially so its not a disaster (yet anyway:rolleyes:) and it also means I can sneak in a bit of extra time with nathan on a full time basis:D

    Right I'm off.

Feel relatively presentable. Nathan looks suitably adorable.

    See you this evening

    Morning all (just).

Have you thought about ebay for clothes? Nearly all of my current wardrobe is from monsoon via ebay. although it's a very small wardrobe cos hopefully I'll drop another size soon. I need some more jeans quite desperately though cos mine are way too big, I'll get them from asda though cos I need to try them on to make sure they fit.

Does anyone know how hard it is to scotchguard a sofa yourself? I've chosen the one I want but it's an extra £60 to have it scotchguarded, surely it'll be cheaper for me to do it myself? Or I might not bother, it's going to be black and covered in a duvet anyway, and you can get funky arm protectors on ebay cheap.

Today's task is to clear the computer corner, which is in a bit of a state, and clear out the old computer unit. I'll do it later on though, cos my best time of day currently is evening onwards.

Bunny, where in Canada are you from?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
