As a wannabe FTB, I came on here looking for some much needed wisdom over the latest hype about boom times returning. Can't see how, I still can't get what I would consider an acceptable rate on a mortgage, even with a 20% deposit - why do I have to push myself to the limit on repayments per month, when base rate is 0.5%?
...But instead I got some laughs. Cheers, this thread is hilarious. Heh heh, 'thanking circle'.:D0

a bit like HPC.co.uk where everyone pats themselves on the back and high fives each other when they tell each other that house prices are really dropping but in reality the trend is up0

I just thought I`d pop in and see how McTavish is "behaving"..........
It seems the leopard hasn`t changed it`s spots.
Still boasting about his house(s), equity and his (trophy?) wife. Still rejoicing in HPI and trying to wind up anyone who is less fortunate (inferior ?) to himself.
Hamish, I do hope that you haven`t called anybody "pathetic" for not having much equity in property by a certain age (yes, i`ll never forget that post on hpc.co.uk, that really made my mind up about your character).
Anyway, carry on the "good" work, i`ll get back to my campaign for reasonably priced property on hpc.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0
