I want to either create a backup or an image of my hard drive onto an external hard drive. Is there a way of securing or adding a password to an external hard drive or one of it's partition which prevents anyone from accessing it?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

as far as i know you can password the partition, but you can partition the folders or even encrypt all the data so if it was taken off its useless to them. truecrypt is ment to be good0
