Best shops to haggle for LCD TV?

Hi all
I'm looking to buy a 32" or 37" LCD TV with a budget of £400 and was wondering where the best places in NI (Belfast region) to go.
Also wondering if anyone has been able to haggle down pricing in any of the major stores? I've tried Laser in Lisburn, Harvey Norman and Sams yer man (over phone) but none will shift. Have been willing to pay on the spot if the price was right and have even shown them better pricing I've found on the Internet (amazon.co.uk & dixons) but alas to no discount.
Does anyone in NI play along anymore??
I'm really keen on the Toshiba 32av615db and have found it for under £290 online and with free 5yr warranty in places in mainland uk but would prefer to collect from a store. All the stores here are charging £350 but none will do any additional warranty at a discount.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Have you had a look in Richer Sounds for the same or similar TV. Their website is pretty good. You should also try CS Suppliers and some of the other Euronics stores. There's one in Andersonstown whose name escapes me. Also consider going further afield, there are threads on here about places in Kilrea and Markethill, I think, with good offers and who are willing to bargainNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

just buy it online if you're saving that much money, local shops generally won't match internet prices - bought my 42" Samsung plasma from Currys online without a problem if you're getting a 5 year warranty with it you shouldn't have any problems if there is a fault as the major companies will have authorised repair centres here anyway (and probably the same ones that laser etc use)Norn Iron Club Member #64

Some of the local stores will discount if the item is on display or a 'showroom' model. I understand the manufacturer supplies these in the first instance at a reduced price so there should be room for haggling0

Richer sounds Belfast store has a few good deals. The HITACHI UT32MH70 seems a good deal at £270, although there's no tuner included this shouldn't be any probs if you've got a digibox ot Sky.
Remember if you go into the richer Sounds store, take a print out of the online price with you.0 -
I find that locally owned shops are more willing to haggle prices than the bigger multinationals as alot of the time the employees there are not authorised to give discounts.0

You could try going in with cash, they might be more willing to negotiate if you are a cash buyer.0

Lisnasure Interiors (same people as Hanna & Browne) are good for TVs with a big stock.
Sams Yer Man did a wee bit of haggling on the phone, and a wee bit in store when I bough 3 white goods from them. They reckon they won't be beaten on price, excluding internet as above, so do your legwork round all the high st shops and see what they can all do.
Bit of a weird one is M&S. They do a 5 yr warranty on their TVs, similar to John Lewis. I'd happily give them 10% more for the same TV with a 1yr warranty. Check them out online, not all their TVs are on display instore. Their prices on some TVs are pretty reasonable.0 -
Titteringtons in Lisburn are usually good at haggling and finding you a good deal. They are beside the Northern Bank.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

Noel Grimley - they also have a place on the Donegall Road, opposite the Park Centre.
You could also try Inn Electrics on the Saintfield Road (on the right, just as you pass the first set of traffic lights past Forestside heading countrywards). Philip Blackwood, the owner, is usually keen to get a sale and will do his best to price match or beat your best price, if he can.0
