Using MCOL - advice please

I've got to the point with Egg and Cap One that I need to take action but I am going abroad for 3 weeks in 2 1/2 weeks time.

With MCOL does everything take place online ?

Should I advise Egg and Cap One that I have commenced court action and that if they wish to communicate that they will have to do so by e-mail or telephone , both of which I will have available whilst abroad?

Thanks for any advice

You can log on to MCOL to follow your claim ie the issue of the claim, acknowledgement and then defence by the defendant, at which point it will be transferred to your local court. If they neither acknowledge within 14 days nor defend within 28 days, you can apply on-line for judgement by default
