Halifax Guaranteed Reserve Savings : BACS payment of monthly interest not received

I opened a Halifax Guaranteed Reserve Savings account in April 2009 and set up the account to pay monthly interest into my bank current account. Up until today however Halifax have failed to make a successful BACS transfer of interest into my bank account . I telephoned them in June and was told that 3 months of interest would be paid into the account in July, this has not arrived. I phoned them again today and they said it would be in my account on this Friday . Has anyone else had a similar experience ? I have been told that if the BACS transfer does not happen on Friday that I can request a cheque .
