Paypal dispute

Hi, hoping for some advice. My son asked me to put some ps3 games on ebay for him. There were 15 in total but several were not in good condition and I told him to take those to GAME for a trade in and I would sell the good ones for him. Anyway, I sold one for a fiver and paid for recorded delivery to avoid any problems. I have just received an email from paypal saying the buyer was filing a dispute - apparently the item is NOT AS DESCRIBED - scratched and not loading. I sat in my sons room making sure all games loaded and played correctly and checked for scratches - this had no deep scratches like the buyer states. Anyway, I replied that I would not offer a refund as the goods are as described but now i wonder if i should offer a refund on receipt of goods received - any ideas please

Unfortunately, if raised to a claim, paypal will instruct the buyer to return the item to you using on online trackable proof of delivery and then they will refund the buyer the full purchase price.

If you have evidence to prove that the item returned is either not the item you originally sent or has been damaged by the purchaser, that is something you will have to resolve though legal means.

hi, yes I did agree to refunding upon return, he then neg feedbacked me but made the mistake of calling me a blatant liar and saying paypal are investigating this - ebay agree this is a breach and are going to remove the feedback - the disc I received back is definately not the same one sent out but as I have no way of proving it I am just letting it go.
