On the sainsburys basics thread many people have said sainsburys basic tea bags (not sure of price, but very cheap) which are fair trade, are very nice. One or two didn't like them, but the majority did. I found them perfectly fine myself. Try these.
  • Nescafe are about to launch a cheap value coffee I did a survey about the name and packaging I prefered. My favouite and great love is Tetleys Earl Grey and Vanilla (Morrisons only) delicious:D

  • I tried the Tesco Value T-Bags and found that they were very similar to the premium brands. couldn't even spot the difference! or maybe there's something wrong with my tastebuds...
  • They are blumming weak, but I either have to have 2 cups of Yorkshire tea a day, or go for Tesco value teabags and have 12 a day ! Thats all my budget allows

Amazing how the tastebuds do get used to things though. I quite like Tesco value now ( apart from the bread - its stale before you get it home !)

I would starve if it wasnt for Tesco value range so many thanks Mr T !!

Asda smart price aren't bad, they 28p per 80, OH likes them. I use to also get the SP beans, but I think they have changed them because they are horrid now, my kids wouldn't eat them and they loved them before, lucky I'd only got 2 tins, usually I bulk buy 24.

I know there is a thread somewhere for opinions on supermarkets value labels but i cant find it, I have tried quite a few value items now and have been mostly impressed, until today ! Tesco Value Teabags must be the nastiest cup of tea ive ever tasted lol  . It was worth a try at less than 30p for 80 but i wont be buying them again.
