True call

Just bought the true call from amazon, its the thing that was on dragons den and screens phone calls before they get put through to you. It said it was compatible with virgin media lines and that you need to make sure caller id was turned on. Just called virgin and they said it was £2 per a month, then told me it wasn't available in my area. Hope i can return the damn thing, it cost nearly £100. Just a warning its not as easy to use/set up as it claims.

Called ID not available in 2009 - shoddy to say the least! It's free on SkyTalk and sort of free on BT so pretty poor.

Amazon let you return things for (if memory serves me correctly) 60 days as long as packaged in original box no questions asked.

I'd love to change to bt but they wanted alot of money and the engineer that came round said they needed to dig up our patio to run the cable through the back garden.

I have contacted amazon but they said it was bought through a third party and to contact them, they only give an email address and haven't replied to me. I thought i was ordering it through amazon, thats where my card details were entered, not very clear.

Dont you have to pay a minimum of £16.50 a month before you can even subscribe to Sky Talk.

It's £17.50 a month now (or from 1/9/09). Gone up (as has the phone line rental, it's now a staggering 25p per month cheaper than BT, lol)
