I think I will sticky this as I've come across some ebay users who were unaware of it and hadn't read any emails from ebay.

In the past you wouldn't get charged as it only needs to be posted during the offer so all OP would be charged is the 6p scheduled listing fee.

Re listed stuff should be okay according to the details listed below - worth trying to get hold of someone from ebay? I know it can be difficult but it would seem that you are eligible



what's included?

Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style or Auction with Buy It Now option formats are included.
Only private users registered with a UK address are eligible for the promotion.
Any item listed previously scheduled to start within the promotional period will qualify for the promotion.
If sellers re-list an item within the promotional period, which had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion.
If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will not refund the Insertion Fee, as the seller would have paid no insertion (the promotional Insertion Fee price of 0 pence) for re-listing the item.
What's Excluded?

Business Sellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
PowerSellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
Items listed in the "Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles" category are excluded from the promotion.

Buy It Now (Fixed Price) format listings.
Any item listed within the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period will NOT qualify for the promotion.
Any items listed which do not comply with eBay’s Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 0 pence (£0.00). Basically, it's a Bank Holiday special like they usually do. You take a gamble -if the weather's lousy there are loads of people looking at eBay, but in the unlikely event it's a scorcher, everyone is out!!

Just be warned as well that Turbo lister also shows a fee payable before you upload. However when you check your bill it shows as free 'promotional rate'.

I was pleased to note that extra pictures are free at the moment to. This is a major plus since i used to use auctiva till it started charging.
