What TV for 300-400?

Hi all, haven't posted here in a while, but I need advice!

My parents need a new TV and are fairly clueless, so have asked me to suggest something for them.

They aren't going to be watching blurays and playing xbox, but want to get something that can handle HD signal when freeview eventually catches up... Their main priorities are at least 2 scart sockets for VHS and DVD players, as well as good picture quality when watching standard-definition TV through freeview.

Brand is not particularly important, but reliability is. Can anybody recommend something in the £300-400 range that would fit the bill?

Thanks in advance!!
