you are a very lucky girl! at least what you pay now will got straight to the debt and not into interest. You could always sneakily pay a little extra back as a thank you and to cover whatever interest your mum has lost by lending you the money.
that's good money for handmade cards, my sister has been selling them for a few years at craft fayers etc and the going rate was never that but is certainly dropping and the quality is improving in all reality.0 -
Hi Wendy
That's really really kind of your Mum. Parents are :A wonderful aren't they.
Are yu going to keep paying your Mum back monthly or are you going to put those payments towards a different debt?
Well done on the Amazon sale and the cards - everything's going in the right direction!

Well been a little while but glad to report Barclaycard is all paid off yay.
Amazon payment of £9.20 went in my bank so only a little to pay off this before I can start saving.
Cant remember how much i've said about my business but still waiting for shop to sell. LL solicitor is a right one, knows all the ways to keep things going on and on. Swear they are waiting for my buyer to get bored and change his mind. Very big downside to this is I have been banking on the sale to pay rent I owe and council tax and it's all catching up fast. Don't want to loose my house and get nasty phone calls and visits from bailiffs.
Also put offer on new shop and it's been accepted, which is brill as much cheaper but need to find money for rent deposit aghhhh
So have been abit stessed lately hence no posts but am back on to positive thinking and it will all sort itself out soon. Hopefully.
1st wins to report (doing well. If I didn't get so nervous with win phone calls)
Won £100 on bonkers about buscuits, Tickets to Walking with dinosaurs (think this was a big win but got so confused during phone call said I couldn't make it and they redrew) and a lipgloss. So loving comps at the moment.
Re last post. Am going to pay my mum off as much and as quick as I can am so glad the interest has gone.Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -
Well it's been a while but not much to report. Had another payment from Amazon go into my bank £14.39. Which is great. Leaves me -£2.74 and I have some pennies to pay in tomorrow (cant remeber how much counted them last week and never got round to putting them in) So this will give me a positive balance.
Shop still not sold so getting more and more in debt. Cant see anyway out. Just have to sit, wait and cross my fingers that it happens quick as borrowing lots of money off lots of different people to keep me a float.
On a slightly plus side I have found a cheap website that I understand how to use, so am listing all my craft shop items on there as e-bay is getting too expensive for the items I sell. So this is keeping me really busy and is sometimes very frustrating. The things I do to save money. Most people just hire someone to make their website for them.Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -
Well I am back to try again.
Much much more positive now but still very skint.
Quick update. Still have the cafe, sale fell through but have excellent staff there and think I can make it work (fingers crossed)
Also now have a craft shop which I love, love, love. More stress I know but a very peacefull place to work and gives me time to get organised. Just need the customers to come and I will be sorted.
Have acumillated loads of debt unfortunetly but am ready to tackle head on.
My debt is things like gas and elec bills, Rent due and a small credit card. Will do as DFSD said before and properly list them when I get time. Just wanted to get back here and make a start.
Have signed up to BB but not much joy there am getting my £5 free play daily but not winning anything and they have just brought out a new rule that u can only withdraw £50 min. Am on tombolla nightly for the free game but no win to report as yet.
My bank account is at zero but at least not overdrawn, waiting for all my money saving and wins to be deposited and hopefully pay off some debts.
Any help with making money and facing debts would be very much appreciated and hope to find a few more diary's to help me along my journey like DFSD did.
Happy positive new year to all. Hope I keep on track.
