making a complaint – the first steps
Your bank, insurance company or finance firm does not want unhappy customers. It's important that businesses providing financial services hear any concerns consumers may have – and put things right when needed.
This is why the business you think is responsible for a problem should have the chance to look into any complaint – before the ombudsman steps in and decides who is right or wrong.
But if you don't know who to complain to at the business, or you're unsure about anything, get in touch with us. We will contact the right person for you, telling them that you have a complaint they need to look into.

Yes, but when you are right and believe you are right, normally others can see that too!0

Your premise is wrong. You state whether you are right or wrong. Either you are right to do so or your are wrong. I didn;t bother changing my address and I didn't get statements should I be going to the FOS because they sent them to someone else who lived at my old address?
I believe the bank should be held at fault cos they couldn't guess my address and I want £400.00 compensation and I believe I am right. Are you honestly telling me that I should go to the FOS without good cause to?
Tsssssssssssssskkkkkkkkkkkk!0 -
stop being silly lol! i mean if you have a reason to complain and are justified. Also the claim should be proportionate.0
