Sky Problems-Help needed Please!

Hello All,

Signed up for Sky back in February for all 3 packages-broadband, tel & tv unfortunately have had nothing but problems with them ever since. Only last month was I fianlly given tel line but still no broadband (main product I signed up for). I have called/emailed cust svc so many times & have been promised on countless ocassions that the problem with be sorted to no avail, including calls from advisors telling me I could have broadband for free (now going back on their word). Even resorted to cancelling my direct debit (although my account is up to date) as it seemed the only way that someone would bother to contact me. Unfortuately last month they disconnected my tv package even though I do not owe them any money.

I have really had enough and told them to cancel my account but they have sent me a snotty letter stating that I can't cancel as I am 6 months short of my contract and therefore in breach of it, surely though they are in breach as they have never supplied me with what I signed up for? I have informed them that I have kept records of all emails & phone conversations & have recorded them but still they are adamant that they are in the right, does anyone please have any advise on where I stand.

Also am I going mad or am I right in thinking that when you are 'fighting' a company you can legally charge them £10 an hour for my time and administration.
