Tesco Christmas Club Saver

Last year I joined the Tesco Christmas Club Saver - which means instead of receiving your Tesco Clubcard vouchers each quarter, they are saved with Tesco and sent to you in November. If you do this, Tesco pay bonuses. You can add cash to your christmas saver at any time over the checkout, although it is best just to top up with cash last minute to get the best return. With £144 worth of savings (including your clubcard voucher savings) you receive a £6 voucher. Last year I topped up my Christmas clubcard saver account with £100 just before the cut off date, earning myself £6 extra to spend in Tesco's. I don't know of a better return than 6% for just a few weeks' savings.

hi! how did you join the christmas club saver thingy?? last year we did the stamp thing which made life easier for us didnt realise that there was a christmas saver club

Hi Sparkle, It's not very well advertised, but if you go to the Customer Services desk there should be a leaflet and, if not, ask for one. It is called the Clubcard Christmas Saver. Alternatively, call 0800 59 16 88 and I think you may be able to join up over the phone. You still get quarterly statements with the money off coupons and a statement telling you how much in clubcard savings you have and how much cash savings you have, but as I said in my previous post, I don't give Tesco's my cash until the last minute.

Does it have to be topped up - if you had vouchers totalling over £144 in the year, would that still give you the bonus?
