Need some 4mm diameter rods, but need the strongest I can get, so any suggestions please ...

Using them to help secure webbing under a car seat, by attaching to hooks secured to the seat frame !

I'm not confident that you'll find anything. Even 4mm Dyneema cord will break at 500kg to 700kg (if you can secure it), not enough for a seatbelt harness. 4mm carbon rods are going to be roughly the same and steel, unless really exotic, less.
Hopefully someone who's knowledge is less theoretical can tell me I'm wrong.

Just to clarify, they're not for a seat belt harness, they're to secure the underseat webbing, that you sit on, to the frame.
Would have thought 500 - 700kg would be fine, even for my athletic figure, for a sumo wrestler that is !!!Baby-Mechanic
