Hi Carla,
Use I Love Juicy from Lush! I discovered it last year and its amazing! I used to have to wash my hair every other day, but with this, I can go 4 or 5 days. It is expensive, but really worth it (and smells amazing as well).

Ahh Thats the one I've just started using!! I've only got a little bottle at the moment to try it out, and have only used it for 2 days so far... so still waiting to see how it goes.
Sounds like its got good reviews then:starmod: :starmod: :starmod: "Live like you mean it, Love 'til you feel it" :starmod: :starmod: :starmod:- The Goo Goo Dolls0 -
My hair was greasy too and I found that the reasons were many: 1. my shampoo was too harsh for my hair. 2 .I was washing it too often. 3. I was washing using water which was too hot, thereby stimulating the oil glands and making it more greasy. 4. I was using shampoos loaded with sodium laureth sulfate which were also bringing me out in a rash and silicone.
I use the following in rotation: Neither have lots of chemicals which can weigh your hair down.

Try using these under luke warm water and see if washing your LESS often works too.

I found the t-gel shampoos to be fantastic - they are quite expensive but you only need a little per wash and they really seem to do the trick.0

Over washing with too harsh a shampoo will make your hair greasier
Did you know that if you possibly could bare to go through with it and not wash your hair for 6 weeks - it would become self cleansing and " normal"?
Poorly Scammo has given some pretty good links there as well as some good advice
I try to only wash my hair every two days using an organic free from as much as possible shampoo and pin it up instead of using straighteners and the hair-dryer daily
However I also have Seb derm so do need to use very harsh medicated shampoos every couple of washes so I dont think i will ever be grease free0 -
thanks very much everyone for you're help, i will take you're advice and get back to you in a few weeks and let you know how i get on
once again thank you so muchwins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:0 -
I used to get greasy hair, now I use a shampoo for dry hair and i don't have a problem! It was because I was stripping the oils from my hair my oil production wotsits were in overdrive to oil my hair or whatever they do! try it! I also only put conditioner from ear level to the ends, rather than in the roots.0

I get greasy hair too and agree with whoever said Vosene, and also the Original Source Mint ones keep it cleaner for longer imo.
I try to avoid touching my hair as much as possible, if i sit and play with my hair it goes greasy straight away! Also i only put conditioner on the very ends of my hair.
If for any reason you can't wash it til the next day, or it gets greasy quicker than you expected, then i do recommend Batiste dry shampoo, i thought it was amazing, it made my hair look clean and light again, as opposed to greasy, dull and heavy.0 -
I would echo the recommendations for Lush - I get on very well with the "Big" shampoo, although the shampoo bars are good too. I've found it seems to be best to rotate occasionally though, I think my hair gets bored! I'll tend to have 2 or 3 different shampoos on the go and switch between them every few days, and it makes a huge difference0
