But I used a jar and that is naughty.

It also allows you room to improve for next time. It's a constant process. If you go on OS, they'll have you knitting a 5 course banquet from twigs...

I didn't know that about trucks on single carriageways.
I costed my spag bol at £1.30 per portion - is that too extravagant? I'm really trying here.

Thats a good price Bookie , not forgetting that it is spaghetti WITH a sauce...NOT a load of mince and tomatoes etc with a little bit of spag, that keeps it cheap;)

We wish the limit would be 50mph, that way not so many people would try and kill themselves trying to get past.......strange how 20ft of tarmac is worth more than your kids future innit?

most brands are pretty useless, hence why only Miele or AEG seems worth buying. I don't have room for a tumble drier unfortunately.

I'm pretty happy with my Bosch. Nowhere near as quiet as a Miele, but a lot simpler to use.

I'll have a look. I had a very bad experience with a Hotpoint many years ago and apparently they have got worse - on the washer dryer front at least. I am hoping my washing machine can be fixed and keep me going for a few more years yet. It cost £115 over 5 years ago so has done well as a second hand machine, i'm really loath to get rid and would be happy to spend up to £100 including the labour on it.

Before the Miele, we always had Indesit cos they were cheap, reliable and most of the bits that fell off ( door catches, seals, belt ) are available at the local spares shop or markets and are v simple to fit.

Yep same here with the washer dryer, but my last one lasted ten years (I didn't use the dryer). I keep my tumble dryer in the garage.....

What makes me laugh is the hoover up right close to the back end of the truck then pull out when it's obvious they can't see anything.

I stay well back from people like that - I've had bits of plastic spang off my windscreen before...

It was very nice. Should have served 4 but they would have been very hungry and needed Z's ice-cream.
Sloshed in a bit of wine which I now have to finish before it goes off.
