HELP WANTED RE FREEVIEW BOX WITH NO RF OUTPUT INTO

For Christmas I bought my daughter a Goodmans Freeview box.The box only has a RF loop and not RF output. This is unfortunate because her tv does not have a scart socket and is therefore incapable of receiving a digital signal from the box.
Has anyone a solution to this problem (other than either swapping the box or buying a new tv) ?

you can buy an adapter in Maplins.
Just tell them what you want it for.0 -
The TV may not have a scart, but does it have any sockets that aren't used marked "video" or "AV".
If so a simple lead should do instead which will be cheaper than an RF modulator.0 -

Sadly not, just a co-axial arial socket.0 -
There isn't much you can do except buying a scart to RF mod convertor.
For example http://www.beststuff.co.uk/slx_rf_modulator.htm
However at £40 this is an expensive option. You'd be better off swapping the box for a slightly more expensive one with RF Modulation (e.g. a Setpal, Thompson boxwithaslot, Pace FTVA to name a couple)Alex Jones0 -

Thanks for that. although it's a rather expensive piece of kit. I shan't be buying one of those.0
