    We've blagged MoneySavers 50 Kitchen Caddies worth around £5 from Recyclenow, the website with info on how and what to recycle in the UK.

    The giveaway is part of Recylenow’s composting campaign, which partners with local councils to give subsidised compost bins. The offers are coming to an end in September so now could be a good time to get a compost bin.

    Kitchen Caddies are used to collect kitchen waste to put into a compost or green bin making composting easier.

    To find out what offers are available in your area, 200 litre bins can be around £20, enter your postcode in the Recyclenow website or call 0845 076 0223.

    The 50 people who get the caddy will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and announced in next weeks email (if you don't get the email go towww.moneysavingexpert.com/tips).

    [title=http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/dp/wtd_underline.gif]What is composting?
    [/title]
    Recycling kitchen and garden waste by putting it in a compost bin produces free nutritious compost to help gardens grow. This also reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill. About a third of household waste can be composted at home - this includes kitchen and household waste (egg shells, kitchen paper, fruit and vegetable peelings, tea bags and even shredded bank statements) as well as garden waste (grass cuttings, pruning's and twigs).

    Load of tips on how to compost are on the Recyclenow website.
