I'm a student and will be going in to my final year in October.
I work at Marks and Spencers in term time and during the holidays. I'm hoping they will give me consequtive days as it means I've got the rest of the week free to visit friends and go on holiday etc.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any flexible jobs that I could do inbetween all this.
Cheers

This is only really applicable to those who can swim, and have a bit of money.
Become a lifeguard.
Yes you have to pay for the course (normally around £200) and exam and need to be able to swim semi decently but the benefits of being qualified are great.
Your nearest pool nearly always wants lifeguards, the pay is pretty decent and if you are casual you can pick up loads of shifts before uni, after uni and weekends (if you want), in the holidays most of the contracted staff want holiday so you can cover their shifts, and there are normally more lifeguards needed.
You need to keep up training, which you get paid for and the qualification lasts 2 years but if you work for the pool they will normally pay for you to be requalified. I recouped the cost of my course which i took 6 years ago within 33 hrs, everything after that has been pure profit. Yes you dont have to pay to get other jobs but this is such a useful qualification as where ever you go you are almost guaranteed work and it also looks good on a CV (where else are 25odd peoples lives dependant on you!)
anyway enough of my essay, its just a suggestion!0
