Thanks, I'll try phoning Paypal later on :)
  • Also remember to reply to the feedback the seller left you showing your side of the story.

How do I do follow-up? I think it's been too long now. It's the blatant lies that do my head in, making out I'm a bad ebayer, when in fact, he's been the difficult one.

He says "would not sell to again", well, boo hoo. I'd avoid you like the plague sir, you are incredibly nasty. His name is dickie.08, though I appreciate he does have some happy buyers; perhaps he put the *actual photos and accurate descriptions* on those listings.

Reply to the feedback reply saying "seller only offered 46% refund of initial cost paid, which is against ebay rules"

    * 46% is the £5.70 they were offering against the £12.50 you'd already paid.

Don't give up, as that's letting this scummy seller win! Just phone paypal and explain it to them.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Id reply to feedback saying 'offered refund MINUS fee's, post, and 'admin charge' for bad item.'
    May £10 a day challenge
    £19.61/£310
    Ebay challenge...£12.61/£200

Thanks, though I'm not sure I can put any additional feedback on, it won't let me :(

Ebay replied earlier today: "In order to help resolve your concerns, eBay would now directly contact your seller regarding this concern. We would send a notification on your seller.

For upon further checking into the details of it, we have found out that your seller is currently on good standing with eBay so we would want to give him this one last chance to make it right for you. We will be back in touch in 10 business days with an update.

Once we have tried this and still your seller would still not cooperate for a better resolution. Simply reply to this email or contact us at this number
after 10 business days and we will take care of the matter for you."

After wading through all that bad grammar, I think they're going to get in touch with dickie.08 and let me know the outcome.

It should do. There should be a link at the bottom of the sellers feedback page. If not then search ebay help for "reply to feedback" or the like. I've seen plenty of feedback exchanges go from buyer to seller to buyer again (where I think it's then capped).

Thank you all for your help, it's much appreciated. At least I know what to do in the future (hopefully I don't have to again though!).

Ebay asked me to contact the seller (NO WAY), and after a brief phone call, they refunded me every penny. Happy endings :j

The "Admin Fee" thing still makes me roll my eyes. Some people..
