Hi All,
I hope you can help.
I am looking at replacing my old boiler to a new combi boiler. Its a 3 bedroom house mid terrace. I have been given a quotation by a friends friend who is registered to install new combi boiler, replace 3 radiators downstairs (as its old and some leaking and been advice that the pressure might burst some pipes or connections ) and install new radiators to the 3 bedroom upstairs for the amount of £2,500. He will disposed old boiler lift some flooring required to install new pipes and fit a total of 6 radiators (1 to lounge, 1 to hall way, 1 to kitcken and 3 to 3 bedrooms). I dont know what combi he will use but i said i want a good reliable combi and he said it will be around £800 for this (this is included in the 2,500 quotation) and he will fit a water softner to prevent limescale.
I have no idea wheter this is reasonable or is this too expensive?
Any reply welcome. Thank you in advance.

I paid £100 for than that, but i also had a fair bit of other plumbing work that the guy did for me, also it include TRVs on the bedroom rads, as well as a remote thermostate (so we didn't have to run any wires)0
