Hi.
My son left his DS in the garden, it didn't rain overnight (I think), but I thought it would likely be damp, so as it didn't turn on, I popped it in the airing cupboard.
Four days on it still won't turn on, though the red light comes on when plugged into the charger.
What d'you think? Has it had it?
Thanks.

I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I would have thought it was unlikely to be damaged from being left out all night if it was dry.
If you switch it on does the light come on for even a second or is there nothing at all, could be as simple as a blown fuse.
I assume you've tried switching it on when it's charging, does the same happen ?0 -
Thanks gee. It won't turn on when charging either. Isaw a fuse kit on ebay, but how hard is it?I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

I think the light goes out once it is charged. Have you tried leaving it on charge for a while? That said it should work while charging.0

Might be worth a call or e-mail to Nintendo - they tend to be fast to respond as they got back to me in less than 24 hours last time i wrote to them.0
