Keeping clothes stored smelling fresh

Hello,

It is with regret that I have packed away the majority of my summer wardrobe:mad::mad:

I keep all the clothes, shoes, sunglasses etc under my bed in the loft.

However, when I pulled them down this year, despite them all getting washed and dried last year, they smelt musty, and had to go back through the wash etc.

Does anyone know of any tips to keep them fresh - what could I put in the case, did think of dryer sheets, but they will dry up and probably not be a good option..

for clothes and textiles, have you tried the vacbags? eg... http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/20960_20961

You are supposed to open them every six months and have a reshuffle so that clothes don't get permanently creased. I have a cupboard on an outside wall and some things used to get a little bit fusty but these have worked!
