Ok wondering if anyone can shed some light on my situation(although i suspect im snookered), bought a pair of boots for other halfs birthday, £197.99 to be exact. The website states they sel original shoes, 100% quality and no tax, also statements such as " low overheads ,large quantities" that sort of thing. But i was then emailed a link to a daily mail report on fake designer stuff and this website being one of the main culprits. The website states it will give a refund if contacted with-in 12 hours, i contacted them about 18 hours later stating i want a refund as they arent the real deal. They said no to the refund(not surprising), is there anything i can do?

And the website didn't set any alarm bells ringing?

    Here I go again:

If an offer seems too good to be true, it usually is...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
