DVD-R media recommendations

Folks :-
I am running out of writeable DVDs so need to get a new batch. I have learnt through bitter experience that cheap is nasty in terms of blank media.

What I am interested in is have there been any tests carried out to check the long term storage capabilities of different brands / manufacturers? I am struggling to find anything online.

It's got be Verbatim. Best by a country mile i think.

Yep I always get Verbatims. Can pick up 25 for around £6-7. Never fail.

I highly recommend BulkPaq.

Ok so they had a few problems at the start, but now they are considered by many to be the best DVDR's for media such as video, games, movies and similar.

£5 for 25, never had any problems with them and I've been through a few thousand over a year or so, plus the dye seems quite stable too.

They used to be bright orange, but they may have changed it to silver recently.

(Note: If you notice....many pirated DVD's you may see about will probably be BulkPaq orange under the label...)
