Ordered, Lost, Reordered... ignored

I order a docking station from PDA Hut on the 8th July, emailed to find out when delivery would be on the 13th July, got a email back the same day (without an reference to my email) saying order was dispatched, next I get an email on the 15th July to say Royal Mail have lost the item and a replacement would be sent out tomorrow (16th July)

The trouble is that was the last I have heard from them, they debited my Credit card for the £15 on the 8th, and although I get an automated 'Your email has been received' from them I have not got a actual reply from three emails. The only contact options are email, fax (don't have a fax) and post, the only telephone numbers I can find either have been disconnected (a while ago) or unanswered, I guess they want email only contact.

I an unsure now to proceed, in my last email I told them if they couldn't supply the item to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Any thoughts anyone.

Thanks.

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, they have a maximum 30 days to deliver, unless you have agreed a different date. If you haven't received the item, then please email them now and ask for either refund or delivery by 7th August. Should you not receive either by that date, then please contact Consumer Direct and report this matter to them.

It should be pointed out that they have 30 days, from the day on which the order is cancelled (in the above case the 7th Aug) in which to issue the refund.

Well, just after posting here I got an email from the 'Director' of the Company saying that they are sorry and my emails seem to have got lost along the way, they said they were out of stock at the moment and would send when stock comes in a couple of days, I told them that was ok, but if it didn't arrive I wanted a full refund, lo and behold the item was delivered as promised, don't know if I'll use them again, but restored my faith this time.

Thanks for the advice, I just didn't have time to put it into practice this time!
