Sub Prime lenders

Dear Homer_J I am sometimes wondering if you are living in the real world or completely dismissing the reality of what does and can happen to borrowers after they have completed and progressed on from you? You meantioned earlier and we respect it too that you want to retain a relationship with the borrower and for repeat business. Isn't it true though that once the borrower is in this situation there is very little you can do to help until the 3 year point when the borrower has either fixed their credit and the early redemption fees have concluded and just maybe help them back to the lower interest rates of the prime market?
Isn't this what sub prime lenders are telling the HM Treasury is what they are doing? Now this is rubbish!0 -
p.s we do not have anything against Mortgage Advisors and indeed believe they struggle sometimes with peoples and lifes problems and other elements created in this industry, totally out of their controls. They play a huge and important part in the whole process and society as whole. But it can be better and a more balanced relationship can be sought. On the surface it seems that everyone involved pick up their little bit of profit along the way and it is the borrower who has reluctantly been drawn into this arena without proper information so as to make an educated and considered choice.0

I asked in private if this was still utter rubbish. I am sure that permissions do not need to be gained in advance to send PM's. Again, though it continues to display an immaturity beyond reasonable common sense consdering your blatent & unsupported remarks earlier in this thread.0 -
Whatever Emma.
You have made a point, but are now flogging it to death. Spout off all you like, I shall no longer respond to this especially when you make personal insults when you know nothing about me, and my business practice.
I still do not wish to receive PM's from you0 -

This thread is achieving very little - as I doubt whether many people will actually read any of the stuff in the 100+ posts that Emma has made - becuase of the volume, so any useful information or statements are just lostAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
Emma, I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is, but I can assure you nobody has the time or inclination to read any of it.
let it go0 -
Actually that is not true. I am very interested in this thread.0

I can't see how its needed one person to post over 100 times , to state an opinionAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
We have been watching with great interest over the past few days. When I say WE I mean four experienced mortgage advisors and myself and we are are not surprised by the current mortgage advisors attitudes displayed to date.0
