Hi, I'm selling stuff on eBay and was wondering why certain things come up on the top of the best match search and others don't appear until you get to page 30 or so
I have 100% positive feedback, and I'm not a powerseller.
Does the latter have anything to do with it, or is there some other criteria for coming high up in best match?

After reading that again I'm frustrated with ebay (as everyone is)
I don't understand why you get lower in best match if you have low p&p dsr but not item description or communication (correct me if I'm wrong but that's what the article seems to be saying)
Let's just have rid of it and go back to setting your own default search.0 -
No one, not even ebay, understand best match!Terms & Conditions Apply0

I set my own search defaults in Advanced Options, which is great as a buyer - but as a seller it's no help to you at all i'm afraid!0

I was browsing some items as well as looking at the places where ebay have put my auctions. I think it is usually time ending soonest on the first page, then sometimes sellers who pay loads to ebay for BIN somewhere in between even though auctions don't end till 3 or so weeks later, and the ones that are last are usually the ones that either have low DSRs, or the item doesn't end till later. If you look at say 2 items that end around the same time, it is usually the seller whose DSRs are better than the second seller whose place is higher than that seller...0
