mobile phone contract

hi guys... i need some advice... i had a mobile phone contract for 6 months... ive had 3 handsets and all were playing up.. the phone company offered me a choice of 2 phones.. im paying £30.00 and the 2 phones they offered me are rubbish idont know where i stand with this any advice would be much appreciated

Are the phones offered of equal value to the phone you originally took the contract out with?

i had the nokia 5800.... and they offered me a htc touch hd or htc diamond.. i took the touch and it isnt even on oranges website

I could be wrong but the handset doesn't form part of your contract (just in case you wanted to use this as a reason to cancel... not saying you are, but just covering all bases).

However, you would expect a like-for-like replacement on the phone.

thanks for you replies im new to these contracts lol but orange said that it was a like to like phone but i was looking on other websites and you can get my mins and messages for alot cheaper then im paying.. maybe i should just stick with the phone and stop being picky lol

The Touch HD is an amazing phone in my opinion, but of course it is your opinion that matters. You could go into an orange store and raise your complaints with them to see if you can get a reduction/different phone which may prove more effective than phoning/writing to them...

Just out of interest, what is it you don't like about the Touch HD?
