Hello,
I'm having a clear out and sellig loads of different bits but the thing i have that's the most value is a Crimson Nintendo DS Lite with a cycloDs card but whenever i have listed it on Ebay they cancelled my listing as it breaks copyright rules.
Not to mention the fact that some of the offers i had off Ebay were just plain silly...it's near enough brand new i'm not selling it for £20!
So what's left?
HELP please i'm skint and could really do with clearing some debts.
Maxine

I'm guessing the card is your problem (although I'm not techie enough to know what it is or does, there are lots of grey areas about such things). I would leave the card out of the listing.
But then, if you're not happy with ebay prices...
Have you looked at what previous listings ended at?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I think the card is the problem but the card alone is worth £30 and if i leave it out it's going to lose it's value.
I wouldn't mind selling on Ebay but by the time you take into account thier fees..then Paypals i really did need a decent offer.
I'm not sure where else i can sell a console with the card.
The top offer i got was £65 ... the console alone is worth £80.0 -
DS Lites are selling for between £58 and £75 at CEX
buy prices alot lower.... think £65 appears to be a fairly good price for 2nd hand DS Lite...
Here

2008 £291.99
2009 JanMasscara £7.00 Feb megcabot books x 2 £20 XFactor tkts x 2 £58.00 (couldn't go though as they only phoned on day :-( ) foundation £7.99

How about listing in your local paper or local shops with a price that you want?Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

think the problem is that these are frequently given away on freecycle.0

With the cycloDs card the listing will always get pulled on ebay as its breaking copyright. Without it you can get good prices for DS on ebay £50 plus. Ive never had problems selling them for good money.
Local papers is always an alternative0 -

DS Lites dont go for much a pre owned DS from game and gamestation go for £69.99 on there website and instore
http://www.gamestation.co.uk/DS/Hardware/Console/~r406216/White-Nintendo-DS-Lite-Console-Preowned/
play.com new is only £99 and £50 used
so if in a retailer you can get it for £70 with a comeback from the retailer its faulty your not gonna get that on ebay and i think £50-£60 0n ebay is reasonable.
the chip may put people off buying it and people might not know what it is anyway so not offer extra for it
just forget the chip and sell it for what its worth which at the end of the day is what someone is willing to pay for it.
the chip maybe worth £30 and the console £80 to you but not everyone else.
the best offer of £65 sounds very good to me, i would personally pay about £50-£60 for the console and a third of the chips value after all it is used.0 -
You can't sell flash carts on ebay, but a good condition second hand DS Lite can still make not bad money. £50 to maybe £70 in excellent condition. Consider a "buy it now" listing or start the auction for a price you can afford to let it go at.
As for your Cyclo, best to sell it locally or on a site you're a member of that has a buy/sell/trade section. There are certainly people out there who would like to pick one up for a reasonable price.0 -
wow! a couple of months back i got over £80 on ebay for my used white ds lite with no games!0
