High quality AA battery chargers (ΔV, BC900 etc) ?

Calling all battery experts
I'm looking for a good quality AA charger rather than the useless Uniross one I have at the moment, I use quite a few 2300 and 2500 mAh Uniross NiMH, mainly in high power drain applications mostly professional SLR flash guns.
Most importantly I'm looking to charge AAs 1 or 2 days before a day of heavy use, so I want to maximise the charge they hold, whilst charing at their optimum current and conditions.
The BC900 crops up in many reviews as "one of the best", also called the Techoline i-Charger, it's quite expensive at £40, found it here: http://www.batterylogic.co.uk/technoline/technoline-i-charger.asp
(The Maha Powerex MH-C9000 crops up a lot, but appears to be US only.)
I assume these are all delta V (ΔV) chargers, does anyone have other recommendations?

I have used one of these here for at least four years. I suppose it depends if you really want one with liquid crystal displays etc. but this one certainly works well (deltaV) from either 12V or mains supply.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

All those displays are just gimmicks. A good charger is a good charger. I can recommend one that last time I looked was still available in Lidl! (specials rack around tools and stuff)

I was surprised when I got this home. The main limitation to charging rate is heat which causes long term damage. This charger has a small fan below the battery carriage that very effectively keep the cells cool allowing a fast and safe charge. The electronics seem quite sophisticated, being able to detect numerous conditions and withhold charge. Also note includes 8 decent batteries and a car charging lead.
I am using it in a camera application and I am getting excellent battery life.0 -
Top of the range , expensive but will meet all your needs. 3 year warranty. Have not googled to find cheaper.
