Ebay parcel returned by Post Office

Hi,

I sold some business books and posted to the buyer on 16th June. The parcel has just been returned by the Post Office as the buyer never picked it up. The address is valid.

Buyer has never ever questioned not getting parcel.

Am I obliged to chase the buyer when he had 6 weeks to pick it up and never contacted me to query where he books were?

Any advice on what I do?

Many thanks

Has buyer complained they haven't arrived?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I would wait and see if they contact you. If not refund the cost of the items minus the postage cost and relist. If they didn't pick it up from the P.O its not your fault. Sometimes postman don't leave cards. Its strange how they haven't got in contact with you. Maybe something happened to them?

Pinkshoes - they've never been back in touch. I simply assumed they had it and hadn't bothered with feedback.

Mrcol1000 - I'll give them a couple more weeks but after 7 weeks who know!

    Thanks

I would relist it and refund their money minus postage. Something is obviously wrong if they haven't been in touch after 7 weeks!
