Authorised overdrafts

I notice the template letters refer to "unauthorised overdraft" - does this mean I can't claim back charges on an authorised overdraft?

  • Hi - I had an authorised (agreed) overdraft facility on my bank account and have used this all up. They charged me as soon as I started using the facility and, of course, interest. Can I reclaim these charges?

You still haven't got me on the same page as you at the moment. Did they charges you interest?
What was the charge that they made?
    Is this Barclays?

If you were to go over the agreed overdraft limit (that would make the unauthorised part), they would charge you a fee for doing so. This is what you could try to claim back. Clear?
