Gas cooker installation?

Hoping for a bit of help.

I am looking to get a gas cooker installed in my mums place. It has a bayonet fitting and she has the 'rubber hose' there. I'm just phoning around asking how much it would cost at the moment but can't seem to find many people that do it

I have had one quote so far of £50 but I have no idea if this is a good price or not. Basically I'm asking what sort of price I should be looking at for this?

Thanks :)

£50 seems reasonable, just make sure the installer is on the http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/

You will get people saying its just a case of connecting the hose into the cooker and away you go.

    But

Part of the installation is making sure the cooker itself isnt leaking gas as well and checking all relevent clearances as well, cooker restraint etc.
