New Sony TV Problem

Just bought a Sony KDL32L-4000. All fine except our old TV would switch on and go straight to the Sky box, we have no normal aerial. This TV when switched on goes to the normal channels. Is there a way I can set it so it goes to AV1 automatically instead of having to press 3 buttons to get there?

Are you connecting through HDMI or SCART? There's probably a variety of ways that it can auto switch depending on your connections.

Try searching on www.avforums.com or if there's no joy, ask one of the many experts on there.

I had a similar experience with my Panny and it was solved through a hidden Hotel menu in the set.

If you have no aerial connected, how can it be going to the terrestial channels? There should be a default in the start up menu that you can change to go to the AV feeds.
    Should be in the manual.

On my panny must be something on a Sony.

That's what I thought, but had a look in the manual online and no mention of being able to change the default feed. OP, does it default back to the Digital TV feed every time you switch off then?

Every time I switch off it goes to analogue feed! Tried lots of things and searched the manual.
Thanks for replies but still no solution?
