I wasn't here when this was going on, but just wanted to say I love reading your posts on this thread, Droopsnout. Please don't stop - there will always be people who just don't get it! :D

    :kisses3:

To be totally honest I didn't really want to bother dragging any of this up again, but a few people's replies have made me feel like I was being nasty with what I posted, so I might as well stick up for myself.

Basically, I was just commenting on how some people's comments have been pretty harsh and yes, Droopsnout, you are one of those people. I can't be bothered to go and trawl through previous threads to find examples but I feel that some of the comments you made a while ago would've intimidated newbies and discouraged them from posting again incase they had their heads bitten off. We're all here to help each other so what harm is it if someone accidently posts a quiz answer that someone else has already posted??

I have also found many of your comments funny and I do definitely 'get it', and since the last bundle of chaos which resulted in the last thread being locked, you have been a lot nicer to people which is great to see. I also hope you stay on this thread (as long as you don't post any pics of you in tights - damn I hate having a good imagination) and I would miss your ever-changing sig if you left it.

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

    Question of money

Test your trivia knowledge for cash prizes
    and earn 300 PiggyPoints!

Do you amaze or bore friends and family with your general knowledge? Why not pit your wits against the finest minds online?

You'll earn 300 PiggyPoints and receive $10 free credit. Your account will be set up in US Dollars but your winnings can be paid in British Sterling, US Dollars or even Euro

(you need to deposit $10 into the account, but i'm sure the ones who are good at quizes and crosswords on here would win some of the quizes)

u pay in with a card but you can only withdraw by asking them to send you a cheque!!

    they just get worse... sigh...

i've now emailed pigsback 4 times over 7 days about my 300 points regarding this before i can try and close my account. no answer yet even though they're meant to reply within 24 hours!?

Strange no-one else seems to have had these. But I don't half fancy 2 nights in a 4 star Irish hotel for £75 so maybe it is divine intervention!:rotfl:

    THEY ARE NOT CLICKTHROUGHS!!!!!!!!!!!
When you clicked on it, it had a purple banner, but now it has reverted to green as its part of the ireland campaign!

    Midmac,

The £1 you won was a small prize from betfair given to the top 5 players in the tournament. Pigsback credit the points to your account within about a week. This could range from between 5000 points to 25000 points and is irrespective of the pound you won. So therefore the tournament in effect is worth it as you played with 100 points (£1), got that pound back in cash from betfair, and now will recieve at least £50 worth of piggypoints from pigsback when they credit the points. I myself have won it a few times and have always recieved the points.

    Hope that helps.
ooh - that sounds a whole lot better!

Midmac - let us know how many points you get credited! :)
