When you say "the first 500" does that mean you'll be sending out more?

Don't think he means that, no. Looks to me like the first 500 people to apply got one. That's it.

Everyday I do the crossword now - myself armed with my thesaurus, as I used to love crossword but got out of the habit.

The only thing is that everytime I complete it it throws me out and I have to log in again and redo it. Really annoying.

Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Just an idea, but what about introducing Next vouchers? The Arcadia Group ones seem to be popular, so I'd imagine these would be aswell. Just a thought

I think this is a great idea! :D some really nice clothes in at the moment and wouldnt mind some money off. I'm a bit bored with the arcadia vouchers now but did buy things that i wouldnt normally be able to afford. Tesco and Argos sound good aswell. Looking forward to them Darragh ;) btw i'm still missing choose a prize and visit london points, recieved a reply from rachel saying my registration wasnt tracked for choose a prize. I still have my cofirmation and definately went through pigsback. Dont really know what to do now

hilary1, PM me with some details about what you do when you enter the final answer, tell me which browser you're using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or whatever), and any other details you think relevant (like what actually happens, step by step) and I'll try to help.

Normally all that happens is that you enter the last answer and a window pops up on screen to say you have completed the crossword. You then click on the "Submit" button at the top left-hand side of the crossword frame, and your entry goes in. A grey window then pops up to confirm your entry. Your screen will then go blank, temporarily, and then the crossword will load up again, for some strange reason.

Yes I have probs too with the crossword. I use zonealarm firewall (if that makes any difference ?). I can be logged onto the front page showing my balance, then I copy and paste the crossword link into the address bar and it comes up as page cannot be found ? I does this for every other quiz link which is posted and it works fine. Any advice please ? many thanks welshy

WELSH-DRAGON, Zone Alarm is not making any difference, I think.

If you are copying and pasting the link, the problem almost certainly lies there. The link for the crossword is so long that MSE's software automatically shortens it.

My link for today's solution appears as follows:

    http://www.pigsback.com/offers/93288...NEOXYGENUNITED

This is a shortened version of:

    ttp://www.pigsback.com/offers/932888210/default.asp?answer=STAMPSSCRAPSAPLDOLPFURNACECYCLEEOTSOOESINCECRASHEDTAROSBEAUTIFULLYSQPNSTOURISTKNELTUASINVADOLLSVIOLENTILUEWNEOXYGENUNITED
(I have had to remove the "h" from "http" to prevent MSE's software from recognising a long link and shortening it automatically!)

It is better to click on the shortened link rather than copy and paste it. If you want to copy and paste, you need to right-click on the link, and in Firefox click on "Copy link location", then paste it into your browser; in Internet Explorer, you have to click on "Copy shortcut" then paste. This will select and paste the whole of the link, rather than just copy the text of the shortened link.

Browsers can't find the page from a simple copy 'n' paste because they only get the shortened text. Hope that makes sense!!

Thank you Droopsnout for your detailed post, much appreciated - shame the thank you button wasn't there to click on. So here is a thank you just for you:

    thanks.jpg

I can understand you explanation re shortening of the link etc, but from the home page, when I click on the crossword link you post, it comes up as: page not found which was why I was trying to copy and paste it to see if that worked.

By right clicking on the link I have the following options: copy shortcut, so I paste into the address bar and it comes up with page not found ? Never mind, I can still enter the other quizzes anyway.
