    Good discussion going on here.

Personally I prefer my prizes to be "treats" - as in, something extra, that i wouldn't normally buy or be able to afford.

If you look at loyalty card schemes they soon move past the basic "money off" concept and move into days out, holidays, meals out etc. This is mainly due to the fact you then feel you are getting "more" or "extra".

That is why Boots Advantage card is geared up so that people can "Treat yourself" while Nectar and Tesco make so much affort on their deals.

Anyway - my point is, I don't want to get £10 off my nomral shopping. I want a treat. I check Pigsback everyday and use this thread because of what I get from it BEYOND my normal expenditure.

Since Christmas I have had £60 off a meal for 6 at Beefeater AND £30 off a meal for 4 and a free dessert each at Beefeater.

£10 and a free main course off a meal for two at brewer's fayre.

About £20 in £5 installments going out for coffee 4 times with friends at Costa

    £10 off lunch at Costa

£10 off and one free adult on national sea life centre visit for two people

£20 off meal for two at Bella Italia.

I use pigsback because it provides me with lots of treats / extras that I would not have otherwise.

Cinema tickets would be a brilliant addition, although orange wednesdays dominate my cinema habits now.

I agree with what has been said about being careful about region specific offers. Lots of rewards schemes tend to be dominated by restaurant chains in the south east, which is why Leisure Vouchers are so brilliant, because I have used them in Cambridge, Birmingham and Shrewsbury!

is nice knowing what others do with theres im collecting all the boots vouchers for christmas pressies, will save me a small fortune i hope lol i fink it would be fantastic to get woolworths vouchers might save me a small fortune on kiddies toys lol.

    Darragh,

I signed up for Aer Lingus and Chooseaprize ages ago. I am receiving plenty of newsletters but have never received my Piggypoints for joining up. (I think there are still alot of people waiting for both of these as well). I have emailed Pigsback, but have had a reply asking for the Welcome emails that I received when joining. However, I had a problem with my computer 3 weeks ago (it was freezing) and had to have the computer "cleaned up". I now have no emails, sent, received or anything else, unless I have received them since it was repaired. Is there anyway I can get round this?

Your, everso grateful, pretty please Fiona11;)

hiya i noted after looking at my points today that i never ever recived the choose a prize piggy points although i seem to get loads of junk mail off them lol.

When you want to spend your points (£20 CD WOW voucher :j ) and have to enter a mobile number for a validation code, do you have pay to receive it? Am a bit dubious...

Thank you to everyone who posts competition and crossword links - you're stars!

Even down here in the south cinema tickets from pigsback aren't any use to me....ever since UGC got bought out by cineworld that is.

The only 2 chains I can get to are cineworld and showcase. Would be nice to see one of them on the rewards list.
im moving to aylesbury in the summer and they only have a odeon and its mega expensive.. will just have to use peterborough showcase till then and then wait for the dvds to come out lol

My DH has just logged on to pigsback and instead of having the normal address of the pb pages it was showing.

    http://admin.pigsback.com/offers/240073800/default.asp

    instead of

    http://www.pigsback.com/offers/240073800/default.asp

This happened on all the quizzes he was entering

He closed down pigsback as it didn't look right and went back in and its back to normal. Any ideas ?

Darragh, can something, anything be done about the lack of points on ANY order at CDWOW when using ANY voucher?

I was going to place an order for £30+ and use a £2 voucher I have, but have placed the order throgh another money scheme as it was better value. If the £2 voucher wasnt included in the points total I would have ordered it through PB.
