Thanks

Hi Darragh,
You've been busy this morning!
ODEON is my nearest cinema, so if you can do a deal with them that would be great.
If you're thinking of doing something for kids, cinema tickets are a good reward but book vouchers would be even better.Desperately seeking [STRIKE]Mr. Squiggles,[/STRIKE] car and garage, [STRIKE]surf board, ball, funhouse,[/STRIKE] wheel, slide and pet carrier :rotfl::santa2::think: :snow_laug0 -
Marigold123 wrote:Hi Tashja, this was definitely you. And it IS a brilliant idea. I was inspired by it and wanted to add my own two-penn'orth. I won't steal your thunder.
Awww thank you
Good ideas and competion wins are very few and far between for me so when the do come along I love them :rotfl:
Someone said ELC/Woolworths vouchers thats another really good idea !!

Were the email addresses similar (hotmail1@hotmail.com, hotmail2@hotmail.com, hotmail3@hotmail.com), did they all have the same or similar passwords (password1, password2, password3), did people log in within a couple of seconds of each other and only do the same clickthroughs and nothing else, then logging out. Were you all using the same PC? (seems to have all come from the same IP address)...
As previously stated, it's not accounts from the same family that we have a problem with, it's duplicate accounts from the same member, masquerading as a couple of people to try get the benefit. This is what's flagged on our system and this is why we close down accounts...

3 were hotmail and 1 was ntlworld. we hve 2 computers on the same connection so when i go on it and see the cts and things ill shout him and he will go on them thats why there the same time.
and on mine i dont just go on for the click throughs ive registerd to bingo sites and things and deposited money through pb.0 -
Good discussion going on here.
Personally I prefer my prizes to be "treats" - as in, something extra, that i wouldn't normally buy or be able to afford.
If you look at loyalty card schemes they soon move past the basic "money off" concept and move into days out, holidays, meals out etc. This is mainly due to the fact you then feel you are getting "more" or "extra".
That is why Boots Advantage card is geared up so that people can "Treat yourself" while Nectar and Tesco make so much affort on their deals.
Anyway - my point is, I don't want to get £10 off my nomral shopping. I want a treat. I check Pigsback everyday and use this thread because of what I get from it BEYOND my normal expenditure.
Since Christmas I have had £60 off a meal for 6 at Beefeater AND £30 off a meal for 4 and a free dessert each at Beefeater.
£10 and a free main course off a meal for two at brewer's fayre.
About £20 in £5 installments going out for coffee 4 times with friends at Costa
£10 off lunch at Costa
£10 off and one free adult on national sea life centre visit for two people
£20 off meal for two at Bella Italia.
I use pigsback because it provides me with lots of treats / extras that I would not have otherwise.
Cinema tickets would be a brilliant addition, although orange wednesdays dominate my cinema habits now.
I agree with what has been said about being careful about region specific offers. Lots of rewards schemes tend to be dominated by restaurant chains in the south east, which is why Leisure Vouchers are so brilliant, because I have used them in Cambridge, Birmingham and Shrewsbury!0 -
Darragh,
One question, are the new vouchers planned to replace existing ones? If they are going to replace...Can I put in a special request to keep Waitrose on the site...I know Tesco is popular but its comletely against my ethics to go inside a door of one...Soooo please keep Waitrose going.0 -
droopsnout wrote:Indeed. And I've still got a £10 Choice voucher sitting in my drawer here. (Not from PB, of course, as they didn't offer them). I guess it's useless now. All those surveys filled in for nothing ...
Choice Gift Vouchers is now in administration. Please could you return your vouchers to the company which issued them for an exchange, if you have received these as a gift please contact the person you received them from so that they can get an exchange or refund. If you are unable to contact the person you received them from e-mail us with the number from the reverse of the voucher we will be able to provide you with the company name who issued the voucher. See for me Tesco Vouchers would be great as vouchers to take £10 off my shopping every now and then would be a help, i agree its nice to have the odd treat of a DVD, CD from CDWOW or £10 off at Pizza Hut, a good mix of both would be the best! Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0
