People can't be members in someone else's right! That doesn't make sense. So they have to be members in their own right.

But if this person pretended to be other family members with a view to making pecuniary gain, my understanding is that s/he is defrauding Pigsback. S/he is falsely claiming that various members of the family are members, when in fact it is one person masquerading as others.
I understand what you're saying, and of course you're right. I was just suggesting a legitimate way of achieving the same end. Sorry, I should have made that clearer when I posted. :D

I'm in the process of creating my own! I'd tell you the name of the songs but then someone may copy - can't be having that, can we?

Tell you what though - post a good name for the album before 12 noon tomorrow (and any artwork you think would suit if you're creative enough), and I'll award prizes of 1,000 PiggyPoints for first, 500 for second and 250 each for third and fourth...

    How's that?

    Taken from T&C on pigsback....
No more than 1 Pigsback.com account can be held by any one individual. Pigsback.com can demand proof of identity in the event of a dispute.

In the event of access by another user, Pigsback.com reserve the right to freeze both accounts until both users are in contact with Pigsback.com. The user shall retain access to Pigsback.com but will not have any access or permission to spend PiggyPoints, until the Account Holder has personally been in touch with Pigsback.com Member Services.

In the event of regular access by a user other than the account holder with the purpose of earning PiggyPoints, Pigsback.com reserve the right to reclaim all PiggyPoints earned by access of the unauthorised user and freeze the account, for which the member will have no recourse against Pigsback.com.

I think its pretty ease to work out its WRONG to do that!!!!

So, Darragh ... A certain member has saved up enough Piggy Points to order £100-worth of vouchers from Boots or Arcadia group, etc., making a total of 11500 points.

That's a service/handling/shipping charge of a pretty hefty £15, if the PB home page is to be believed (i.e. 1 point = 1 penny in the UK).

This member must have saved up for a fair while, I would think. S/he could have ordered each voucher separately each time s/he had 1150 points in the piggybank. But didn't.

PB have had the money in their account (I realise that's a bit theoretical, but over the huge quantities involved, it does apply); they have reduced postage costs from 10 letters to one letter; they have considerably reduced admin costs. So I think it would be a mighty fine gesture if PB were to offer a small rebate of points for large orders. This could be graduated, or you might just have one major value point at which the rebate applies.

A graduated system is likely to be more effective as it will catch more people who can't wait to get to 11500 points, but have the patience/self-discipline/etc to refrain from ordering at every 1150.

May I suggest the following as a basis for discussion?

    5 vouchers = 5750 PPs, reduced to 5650
    10 vouchers = 11500 PPs, reduced to 11200

So how about it? Have a word with the powers-that-be, huh?

    I thank you!!

    An excellent suggestion!

It might even encourage members to spend more through Pigsback as it would take longer to build up the number of points required for the better value vouchers. Definitely worth considering, Darragh!

    lyric example:

Song of Pig: Pig, you have two holes on your nose
When you catch cold, you are snorting
Pig, you have black eyes which we cannot see beyond
Pig, you have two big ears
And you cannot hear that I'm cursing you silly
Pig, you have a curling tail which you cannot run without
Pig head, pig brain, pig body and pig tail
You are a good baby who eats everything
Everyday you won't wake up till noon
And you never brush your teeth and you never fight
