Any advice for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant position interview?

  • Not so sure about "valuable" skills, I guess it depends on what you are looking for in a job and future career.

In this case the OP is asking specifically about interviewing for a recruitment position, or didn't you notice?:D

As with many of the threads on MSE, the original post leads to varying comments and opinions, not always a direct answer to the OP.... or didn't you notice :D

The OP asked for advice on how to approach an interview for a trainee recruitment consultant position. Your replies not only ignore the question, but actively attempt to discredit the industry into which the OP is applying. Since you are a well known agency basher on this site, I can only hope that the OP can see past your comments and treat them with the lack of credibility they deserve.

Good luck to the OP, I hope he gets the position, or at least gains some valuable interview experience:beer:

Like I said, lots of replies on threads do not answer the initial question, but give opinions about experiences and lessons learnt along the way. Perhaps the OP did not realise the harsh selling environment that recruitment is and therefore other's opinions may be of use to the OP in their decision. If not, they can ignore the comments and move on.

I'm not sure who gave you the decision on whether my comments are credible or not but you are welcome to an opinion like any other person on here :rudolf:
