I was raised on home grown produce and own label for what we couldn't grow ourselves. By mid 2008 we were buying a bizarre combination of organic due to my ill health (reinforced by Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall) and branded junk food for Mr. Fire Fox (who is a chef!). We've reduced our grocery bill by half by giving up the organic, cutting back on the branded stuff and shopping fortnightly instead of weekly. :j Still work to be done and I have recently joined the Grocery Challenge!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I am also a Sainsbury basic range convert. I cannot believe i used to spend my money on branded goods when the own brands/basic range is just as good. My shopping bill has reduced drastically.0
